Great Ming: I Just Raised a Rebellion, and Now Everyone Knows I'm the Emperor's Grandson

In the eleventh year of Hongwu, the Crown Princess dies, and Crown Prince Zhu Xiongying vanishes under mysterious circumstances! Jinling is awash with blood, and corpses litter the land!

Fourteen years later, Zhu Yucheng, the biggest bandit chief in Shandong, sneaks into the imperial capital to spy on the enemy!

By the Qinhuai River, he runs into a drunken old man lamenting, “My son is dead.” After talking with him, Zhu Yucheng is astonished to discover that the old man knows all about the past and present, understands the art of ruling, and is unmatched in military strategy!

“Old man, come back to Shandong with me and raise an army! We'll seize this rotten throne, and you can choose whether to be my strategist or prime minister!” “You little brat!” The old man glares at him through bleary, drunken eyes. “You're the emperor's eldest grandson! You want to rebel against your own grandfather?!”

Zhu Yucheng is stunned. I'm a bandit chief, and the old man I just recruited as my strategist... is Zhu Yuanzhang?! The emperor of the Great Ming I'm planning to overthrow... is my own grandfather?!

And that's not even the craziest part:

He takes Zhu Yuanzhang to a brothel to admire the Eight Beauties of the Qinhuai River together!

Right in front of Zhu Yuanzhang, he rails against the vassal princes' corrupt rule and predicts the fall of the Great Ming!

He teaches Lan Yu battlefield tactics with a sand table, crushing the Great Ming's god of war so thoroughly that the man questions his entire life!

He goes undercover as a junior officer in the Embroidered Uniform Guard, running a secret operation right under Zhu Yuanzhang's nose!

Emperor Hongwu Zhu Yuanzhang watches his grandson, brilliant in both letters and arms, naturally strong as an ox, audacious to the extreme, and determined to rebel against him, and breaks into a delighted grin. “He really is just like me! This empire should be yours!”
