[Jin Rong x Er Tai | Unhinged Female Lead x Obsessive, Devoted Dog]
As the older sister in a family with a favored son, Luo Jinrong has never been able to find herself. She wakes up to discover that she has become Xinrong's younger sister, and is being forced to enter the palace as Ziwei and Xiaoyanzi's companion. This is bad. Not only does she have to find herself, she also has to help her family get ahead.
She heads for the palace determined to stay alive, but this greasy Er Kang somehow seems familiar.
"Palace Liquor! One hundred and eighty a cup!"
That's it! Zhang Wei!
Now fellow countrymen have met, and tears fill their eyes. Let's make the world of My Fair Princess come alive!
Wait, "Sister-in-law, open the door. It's me, your brother." Er Tai, what are you causing trouble for now?
Wait again, "If you're Er Kang, then who am I?"
It's all a mess. Let's drink it while it's hot!
This is an ensemble story, where everyone is unstoppable in their own way. Ziwei is rational and elegant, Xiaoyanzi is full of energy, and Qing'er is a fire beneath an iceberg, refined and gentle. From the perspective of a friend, Jinrong sees the good in everyone. She's cautious and doesn't want to make mistakes, but gradually goes off the rails here. Zhang Wei is a little timid, yet time and again he has no choice but to stand up with a chivalrous heart.
Forced into this noisy, bickering big family, they gradually fall into step with one another and work through life's challenges together.
(This doesn't bash the original. We're just happily joining the story. The romance begins after Ziwei enters the palace. The real Er Kang will return later and chat with Zhang Wei. The author will do their best to combine the new version's passionate drama with the old version's wisdom and kindness, and balance everyone's experience. Also, the author has doubts about some of the new version's Xiao Jian's actions, but won't break up any couples. The old version's Qing'er and Xiao Jian will be portrayed as soulmates who fall in love at first sight. Please don't read if that's not your thing.)
