Schemes of Yan Yun

The soil of the Sixteen Prefectures of Yan Yun has buried too many wronged souls.

She carries the yielding grace of tai chi and hides a blade of vengeance. At sixteen, she should be out admiring flowers, but instead she's plotting people's deaths. She throws herself into the game, using rouge as poison and her smile as a blade, weaving the Thirty-Six Stratagems into the hem of her skirt.

The tribal tents are her chessboard. The Khitan wolves are her pieces.

All she wants is simple

to see those people's blood stain the sands of Yan Yun red.

It's a game of life and death. She cannot afford a single misstep.
