Taking the battle for resources in the apocalyptic ruins as the background, it explores the boundary between survival instinct and emotional fetters. It tells the story of the predator Ling Ye and the mountain guard Shen Yan in the extreme situation of imprisonment and confrontation, from being wary of each other to developing complex emotions, and experiencing the collapse and reshaping of faith. It shows the possibility of emotions breaking through the line of rational defense in desperate situations, and the swing and perseverance of human nature between survival and morality, possession and protection.
