Raising a Child Through Famine, My Scumbag Ex Begs Me to Stay

In 2025, Yang Qing was the sharpest blade in the Dragon Scale Special Forces and a top wilderness rescue expert. In a single moment, she transmigrated into 1960, on a typhoon-lashed night, becoming a desperate abandoned wife who clutched her sick daughter as her life hung by a thread! Their home was bare, the rain poured in sheets, and her frail little girl was at death's door in her arms. Meanwhile, the man who was supposed to be her husband had drunk himself senseless with the money meant for medicine, pushing mother and daughter toward their deaths! Hah! He wanted her dead? Not a chance! Yang Qing, a woman from the future, gave a cold stare. She was no longer someone who meekly accepted whatever came her way! Using her extraordinary wilderness survival skills, she split bamboo to make traps and relied on the mountains to provide, carving a way to survive from the depths of despair. As plump hares, bamboo rats, and even rare medicinal herbs kept finding their way to her, her impoverished little household began to quietly transform! As for that drunken, gambling, spineless and useless husband? Yang Qing watched coldly. Would he remain a hopeless mess, or would her forceful ways and sharp methods bring him to heel and make him mend his ways, humbly begging for a chance to survive? See how she defies fate in this era of scarcity, raises her daughter, and step by step lives like a queen!
