Siheyuan: An Engineer from the Start, Putting All the Villains in Their Place

[No holier-than-thou protagonist] [No dragging things out] [Decisive and ruthless] [Satisfying power fantasy] [Passionate]

“Lin Weiguo, you deliberately damaged the machine! There’s something wrong with your thinking. Your honors are revoked, and you’re demoted to odd jobs!”

In 1965, as he faces denunciations at a factory-wide meeting and the ugly faces of the beasts around him, technical backbone Lin Weiguo feels as if he has fallen into an icy abyss.

But in his darkest hour, he hears a heavenly voice!

[Ding! Extreme oppression detected. The God-Tier Engineer System has awakened!]

[Novice gift pack: A futuristic technology factory!]

Hold it in! I’ll put up with you pack of bastards for now!

On the surface, Lin Weiguo takes whatever comes his way. In secret, he enters the System’s space every night to study technology far beyond his era!

While the beasts are still experimenting with hand-cranked drill presses, he’s already using five-axis CNC machines!

While they’re still fretting over the proportions for a single piece of steel, he can already make shape-memory alloy by hand!

At last, his opportunity arrives! A key national military project has hit a bottleneck. With the whole world imposing a technological blockade, the steelworks is brought to the brink by one tiny component!

Lin Weiguo smiles.

He quietly manufactures a perfect component, but doesn’t turn it in.

Instead, he attaches an improvement plan capable of sending shockwaves through the entire industrial world and sends it straight to the central government!

When senior officials from the Ministry of Industry arrive in person, denounce the factory leaders in front of everyone for being “blind to talent,” and solemnly ask odd-job worker Lin Weiguo to step forward and take charge of a national-level project,

the beasts who once framed him turn ashen and collapse to the ground, one by one!

Their good days are over!
