Shuo Yue Quan Zhuan (Vernacular Version)

This book is a popular vernacular translation of "The Complete Biography of Yue". The novel begins with the Tathagata's protector, the Golden-winged King Dapeng, who was demoted to the mortal world and repaid his unjust debt. It tells the tragic life of Yue Fei, the reincarnation of the divine roc, from his birth, learning skills, and joining the army, to leading the "Yue Family Army" to repeatedly defeat the Jin soldiers, suppressing the rebellion, and serving the country with loyalty. In the end, he was framed to death by the treacherous minister Qin Hui on "unfounded" charges. The last twenty chapters move from the unraveling of the unjust case to the happy revenge and mythical ending, completing the legendary "compensatory" ending to the loyal and filial hero Yue Fei. The story ends with Yue Fei being posthumously named the "Loyal King Wu Mu" and the title placed on the top of the tomb. Qin Hui and his accomplices were punished and fell into the underworld. Yue Fei's past and present karma returned to perfection, and the Tathagata Buddha returned to his throne with the Dapeng on his head. The novel is full of legendary color, vivid plot, and full of characters. It is worth reading.
