The original Li Xing lived in a world overrun by demons and filled with supernatural ability users. He had an immortal body.
After offending the underworld, he was beheaded and thrown into the sea.
The legendary toughest man to kill had never suffered such a fatal injury before. His head and torso each grew their own bodies without consulting one another. By the time he swam back to shore, he discovered that he had become two people.
Li Xing's head grew a torso and took the alias Zha Guo. His torso grew a head, and happened to be found by Bai Zisheng, who had just transmigrated into this world.
What's more, Li Xing's regenerative ability had split in two:
Bai Zisheng had everything but a head, and was impervious to blades and bullets.
Zha Guo had only a head, and was impervious to blades and bullets.
Once they realized this, they independently reached the same conclusion: only by killing the other could they reclaim their full abilities.
So Zha Guo plunged into the heart of the underworld, hoping to use its dark forces to kill Bai Zisheng and get what he wanted.
Bai Zisheng, meanwhile, enrolled in school, changed his appearance, and kept his head down as an ordinary college student.
With Zha Guo's identity and abilities, taking down Bai Zisheng should have been only a matter of time.
But Bai Zisheng also had a mysterious storage bracelet.
Though its power was astonishing, other ability users were terrified of it and kept their distance.
That was because the bracelet could only be used by sacrificing one's flesh, allowing its owner to seal and command demons.
But...
A sacrifice of flesh means death or crippling injury. What does that have to do with my immortal body?
Seeing Bai Zisheng summon hundreds of demons with a single move, everyone lost their minds.
“Boss, how many lives do you have? You're tossing demons around like punching bags!”
