[1v1 + transmigrate into a book + forced love + imprisonment + redemption + plot twist]
Shen Juan'an never imagined that he would transmigrate into the melodramatic angst novel he'd been reading before he died, becoming the only light in the young life of the book's obsessive villain, Qi Yan, a beloved one destined to have his wings broken and be locked away in a gilded cage.
Knowing the plot, he resolves to stay away from danger. But the System's mission is to save the villain, and he is also drawn to the loneliness and possessiveness written in Qi Yan's eyes.
He tries to change the tragedy already set in motion by showering him with love, hoping to warm that frozen soul.
However, he underestimates the cruelty of the original story's power. After Qi Yan comes of age, his family forcibly takes him away. Shen Juan'an searches for him like a madman, but finds nothing. Even the System disappears, leaving him all alone.
Until the sensational coming-out scandal that rocks the whole city: he tears up the arranged marriage with his own hands and thoroughly enrages the head of the family.
At his most wretched moment, he reunites with Qi Yan.
What awaits him isn't a love rekindled, but a cold cage and shackles on an isolated island in the sea.
Red-eyed, Qi Yan pins him against a glass wall, with the endless ocean behind him. “You said you wouldn't leave me.”
His love is possession, confinement, dragging a god from the altar, making the sun shine only on his darkness.
Looking at the lover before him, so familiar yet so changed, Shen Juan'an finally understands: he was never warming an iceberg. He was nurturing an even more frenzied obsession.
Will he submit to fate and become a caged bird, or tear up the script at any cost and teach Qi Yan what it means to truly love?
It's a bit slow in the early stages, with a touch of sadness, but in the later stages there's forced love. Who knows how much car exhaust hooks me, and it's so sweet and cruel. Overall, I think it's not easy to find a book like this on Tomato. After all, it's the author's first book. I hope it will improve as I write more.
It's great to watch, the plot is smooth and the emotions are delicate. I think the author has a tendency to start low and go high. The forced love he writes really appeals to me. I like it very much 🤤
It's a surprise, it's beautiful, but oooooooooooooooooooooooooo
