Secret Canon of the Nether Ruins: Record of All Things Returning to the Hidden Archive

Qin Anan, Du Yuetong, Wang Yifan, and Jiyuan Chisui cross paths while following separate clues connected to the Myriad Forms Returning to Hiddenness Chart, an ancient star map said to record the locations of the core hidden treasures of the world’s lost civilizations, along with their taboos. They discover that the map points not only to priceless treasure, but also to a terrifying force capable of overturning everything humanity knows and a conspiracy spanning past and present. A vast organization called the Eye of the End, formed through an alliance between the Western mystical religion known as the Shadow Mass Society and the ancient Eastern cult Jiuyou Gate, is also desperately searching for the map. Its aim is to release an entity on the level of the Old Ones, currently sealed away. The protagonists must brave dangers around the world, from Egypt and the jungles of Southeast Asia to ancient Japanese shrines, Africa’s lost cities, and the snow-covered mountains of Tibet. They must solve one riddle after another, battle supernatural horrors and utterly ruthless enemies, and confront the shadows of their own pasts and their innermost fears.
