Xiao Yanzhou transmigrates into an imaginary dynasty in ancient times. He expects to begin an ordinary life in another world, but instead finds himself caught in a love affair shaped by the cruel whims of fate. Every time he falls deeply in love with a woman, his memories recede like the tide, washing away every trace of the unforgettable past they shared.
Only when the heroine brings out the poems he once wrote, words filled with tender feelings and the marks of time, can she pry open the gates to his sealed memories and help him remember their beautiful past: vows beneath the moon and whispered words among the flowers.
Caught in a cycle of forgetting and remembering, Xiao Yanzhou navigates tangled romances and rivalries: deep bonds he cannot bear to leave behind, schemes and calculations full of hidden barbs, and the painful struggle of being repeatedly pulled to the brink of losing his memories. Like a man walking through fog, he must fight the curse of fate while piecing together the fragments of his shattered memories to uncover true love and the course of his own life.
It was a good read, and the plot was quite interesting.
