After Our Flash Marriage, We Made Three Rules

[Love After Marriage / Powerful Family Alliance / No Angst / Four-Year Age Gap]

Shen Xiyue and Zhou Xubai had only met twice before registering their marriage, and they had no feelings for each other.

The good news: They were married, and had agreed on three rules. Sleep in separate beds; avoid intimate contact; live their own lives without interfering with each other.

The bad news: Her husband might be gay.

Her sister, upon hearing the devastating news, felt like the sky had fallen and urged her to get a divorce.

Shen Xiyue reassured her: "Don't panic. It's a marriage of convenience, and we agreed not to interfere in each other's lives. No harm done!"

Zhou Xubai broke their rules every day. It wasn't long after the wedding before he started pestering his wife to revise their agreement. "Necessary physical contact is allowed, and required." "Not interfere in each other's lives? I'll decide what happens in yours." "The third rule is null and void." "Xiyue, shouldn't we try being a real married couple?"

Extra Scene 1:

Shen Xiyue asked her childhood friend what she thought about whether a husband was gay, pretending it was about a friend. She got a suggestion.

When holding his hand, try tracing your fingertip across his palm, or casually touch his earlobe... Apparently, if he's really gay, he'll act especially uncomfortable!

She tried it, and his reaction really was strange.

Extra Scene 2:

Two weeks after the wedding, her younger sister Shen Lingxi insisted that Zhou Xubai was gay. Shen Xiyue believed her, since Zhou Xubai's several previous blind dates had gone nowhere and he'd suggested sleeping in separate beds when they married.

One day, she finally couldn't hold back and asked him. Zhou Xubai countered: Is it a man's original sin to have no romantic history? Does that mean he has to be labeled a 'homosexual'?
