[Beast Evolution + Goofy Believers + Cthulhu + Addictive]
India, a magical land!
And Yang Zhi’s life has been even more absurd than a message in a bottle drifting down the Ganges:
In the first half of his life, he was a “Rinpoche” in Shanghai, fooling rich women with sutras he found online. His boss threatened, “If you don’t hit your KPIs, you’re going to the Ganges to feed the crocodiles.”
In the second half, he really did become a Ganges crocodile. His scales smell of curry, and he’s bound to an evil god System that reads out menus!
And his Indian believers are something else:
Arun, a betel-nut seller, uses plastic scraps as “divine scales” to cure hemorrhoids, spending an average of three and a half hours a day scavenging by the river;
Priya, a sari vendor, presents him with a completely transparent “king’s robe,” claiming, “Only the pure of heart can see this sacred garment”;
even a Bollywood director comes to cash in on the hype, shooting The Evil God Ktala’s Mistake. It becomes a box-office hit thanks entirely to the lead actor dancing Bollywood-style with his legs going the wrong way.
“System, don’t these people need to see a doctor?”

Yang Zhi chews on his curry rice, deep in thought. Maybe... being a slacker evil god isn’t so bad?
It isn’t until the Demon King of the Universe comes knocking, and his believers wave WI-FI signs while dancing in the square to cheer him on, that he realizes:
These troublemaking believers are the ultimate weapon against the ancient evil gods!
