"Who gets to decide my fate? Just look at this face of mine. I can give you innocent allure, icy beauty, a fragile air... It's all effortless!"
She tore up the script and gladly watched every fallen big shot lose themselves over her.
The clearer her mind, the more frenzied they became. The more she resisted, the more willingly they surrendered.
When she raised her eyes, the so-called strong had their reason completely shattered. They knew she was poison, yet they still had to drink it to quench their thirst!
"You want to mess with me?"
Qing Wu lifted her prey's chin with a fingertip, as if stroking a cornered beast with its fur standing on end.
"You've picked the wrong soft touch... A gentle blade, a needle hidden in cotton, made to deal with anyone who won't behave."
Seeing through the mad obsession buried in their bones, she crushed their lofty pride.
What she wanted was never submission. She wanted to watch these chosen ones of fortune turn "I never will" into "Anything for you"!
The ultimate player, the only one holding the house.
What did fate matter? What did rules matter?
"Now, all of you, perform according to my mood!"
I kind of understand why this kind of novel is rarely read. "Eating Melon" has too many descriptions. It's understandable to add more descriptions to some details, but you should understand the principle that water overflows when it is full, and the moon waxes and wanes, right? Too much is too much. These gorgeous descriptions of the environment are unnecessary if they are too much. Instead, they will deprive the readers of their interest (a small part of it, anyway, I am like this). They are not here to read the environment after all, and the plot is barely passable. It is enough that the environment can generally imagine the artistic conception. There is no need to outline it line by line. I have not finished reading it (apologies) but the author's strength of 58 chapters in 3 days is obvious to all. After reading seven chapters, I got trypophobic due to the large text. I felt like I was reading four major classics (bro is not divided into different lines at all? - A joke). However, I am really curious about the next direction of the plot. After all, the author is a newbie and can understand it. Reading these chapters made me feel like I was being driven () Come on, teacher 💕🍉
