Raising Kids with a Bobtail in the 1950s

Help! The most beautiful red fox of Qingqiu has somehow ended up starting out in a latrine in 1950?! And it gets worse: "What kind of fox immortal am I supposed to be? To raise a human child, I have to sever my tail and bleed every single day?!" (The Guardian of the Boundary sneered: Use your demonic power, and one year will be taken from your descendants' lives!)

Hu Jiuli clutched the child, who was so hungry he was convulsing, and gritted her teeth as she tore up the warning. "Their lifespans? Take them! I have nine lives. Is that enough to raise three generations of the Shen family?!"

Later...

Her enemy fell to his knees, weeping. "Fox Immortal Granny, spare me!" The chains of Qingqiu wound around her neck. "I'll cut off all nine of your tails!"

The fourth generation of the Shen family slammed the table and leapt up in fury. "You dare lay a hand on my mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother? Have you reckoned with the ordinary people of this world?!"

As Shen Yanzhi lay dying, he gently traced the scar where her tail had been and smiled. "In our next life... I'll find you in a cornfield, carrying a bar of soap."

Hu Jiuli counted the stumps of her lost tails and laughed through her tears. It was worth it! She severed her tails to raise a family? In this world... what a bargain!

Ten thousand years of immortal cultivation can't beat a bowl of porridge by a warm kang.
