Modern university student Liu Xuande wakes up to find that he has transmigrated as Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms period. He has just taken over Xu Province, beset by troubles at home and abroad, with enemies closing in on all sides!
Powerful enemies surround him from without:
Cao Cao's army is at the gates, vowing to bathe Xu Province in blood to avenge his father;
Lü Bu lurks nearby like a hungry wolf, ready to stab him in the back at any moment;
Yuan Shu watches like a tiger, waiting to reap the benefits!
Trouble is brewing within:
Cao Bao, commander of the Danyang troops, refuses to obey orders and secretly conspires with their enemies;
The local magnates have outwardly submitted, but hide ambitions of their own;
Even Zang Ba, the Taishan bandit Liu Bei has just brought to heel, could turn against him at any moment!
And worst of all
Liu Xuande discovers that being “Liu Bei” is a constant struggle for survival:
His foreknowledge is limited: history has already begun to veer off course because of his arrival. What if Cao Cao refuses to withdraw?
The System is nowhere to be seen: other transmigrators get a golden finger, but he has to bluff his way through with nothing but his acting skills!
“Since you've made me Liu Bei, ”
He points his sword at the map, his eyes flashing with resolve:
“Then I'll use benevolence as my shield and cunning as my spear, and carve out a path to victory through this chaotic age!”
For the people: Open the granaries and distribute food to win their hearts.
For his enemies: Use Lü Bu to keep Cao Cao in check, then use Yuan Shu against Lü Bu.
For traitors: Offer them wine with a smile, while secretly preparing their nooses.
When Cao Cao joins forces with three other warlords to attack Xu Province...
Liu Xuande stands atop the city wall and laughs: “Do you know, ”
“I've already turned Xu Province into a grave for every one of you!”
This novel is also known as: “How to Survive After Transmigrating as Liu Bei” and “All My Enemies Want Me Dead”
I usually don't comment. 👍
This book can be read at a glance, and it makes up for one of the regrets of fans of the Three Kingdoms. Liu Bei occupied Xuzhou and was qualified to sit at the dinner table in the early period of the Three Kingdoms and compete with Cao Cao.
It's well written, not the kind of book that's completely mindless.
After watching it all night, there was nothing particularly addictive except for the new three heroes fighting Lu Bu.
