Unknown, untraceable, inaccessible.
For more than 2,300 Epochal Cycles (1 Epochal Cycle = 1,000 Eras = 100,000 years) since the end of the First Dimensional War, the Hall of Lawcraft had remained hidden in the rift between higher dimensions, like the heart of chaos. It would reveal its nine-colored form only when the balance between dimensions teetered on the brink of collapse.
It was the final instant before the Genesis Era (A-2293) began. At the boundary between the original Nine Dimensional Walls (the mythological dimensions of China, Greece, the Norse world, and others) and the Cthulhu Dimensional Wall, a fissure suddenly tore open, stretching across all of time. An archaic hall, surrounded by halos of black, white, purple, red, blue, yellow, green, brown, and cyan, slowly descended through the breach.
The nine-colored energy coursing around the hall was no mere light. It was made of the “fragments of the Balance Laws” left behind by the Nine Lawcrafters after the First Dimensional War. When the Creator sealed the chaotic aspect of its mind, the cracks left in the Dimensional Walls became openings through which chaos could seep. Now, the Hall of Lawcraft emerged and used itself as an anchor, forcibly merging the Nine Dimensional Walls with the Cthulhu Dimensional Wall. Countless fragments of dimensions collided and reassembled, ultimately forming a super-dimensional wall with limitless room to evolve.
All living beings within this dimension called it the “Genesis Dimension.”
After completing the merger, the Hall of Lawcraft did not stay for long. It left a “Nine-Colored Sealing Stone” in the core region of the super-dimensional wall, the precursor to the Starvault Universe of later ages, then vanished once more into higher dimensions. It left behind only a whisper that crossed time and space, heard by a handful of ancient beings: “Chaos will awaken. The Balancer shall be born from the underworld...”
