Sword Shatters the Sealed Heavens

In the vast and mysterious world of immortal cultivation, the two protagonists, Jin Butong and Xiao Yi, were born bound by mysterious seals. Their powers are feeble, and they endure endless ridicule. But deep inside an ancient tomb, Jin Butong awakens a rusted sword, causing cracks to appear in the seal. At the same time, the two accidentally activate the Attribute Point System, setting them on the path to a comeback.

Villainous forces, including Mo Chen, an elder of the Lingxiao Sect, fear the protagonists’ growing strength. They repeatedly sabotage their efforts to obtain resources and lay trap after trap. The protagonists face a fate in which failure means they will never break the seals upon them and will lose their freedom forever. And as the seals grow stronger over time, they must break through layer after layer of cultivation limits in a short time.

Though their abilities are restricted by the seals and they are often at a disadvantage in their early battles, Jin Butong and Xiao Yi steadily raise their strength by adding points through the System. As they grow, they find themselves at odds with traditional cultivation factions and are forced to take sides. Some characters who waver, such as Liu Rufeng, head of a neutral merchant association, betray the protagonists for personal gain, leaving them struggling to trust others.

Misunderstood as useless by everyone, the protagonists endure endless mockery and humiliation. But with unyielding determination and help from allies like the mysterious rogue cultivator Ling Shuang, they overcome one crisis after another. Even when they successfully break through to a higher cultivation level, their unorthodox methods make them outcasts in the eyes of traditional factions, leaving their victories bittersweet. At last, after overcoming countless trials, they break their seals. Their swordlight illuminates the thirty-third heaven, freeing them from a thousand-year-old shackle. They embark on a life of freedom, and change the balance of power in the world of immortal cultivation.
