(Single female lead, not a wish-fulfillment novel, no System, no golden finger, historically focused, long chapters. Please don't read if that bothers you.)
When Lu Yuan, a science student, opens her eyes amid the blinding light of a lab explosion, she finds herself lying in a coffin. She has become Su Li, the legitimate daughter of the Su family, who died taking an arrow meant for Liu Zhiyuan.
Outside the carved coffin lid, everyone is frozen in shock. In her mind, modern physics equations collide with the clash of blades in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period.
Rather than imitate the original owner's gentle, virtuous nature, why not put her knowledge to use and find a way back?
Was her transmigration really just a coincidence? The truth is far more complicated.
When the hands of two transmigrators meet, they must face more than Shi Jingtang's tyranny, the Khitan cavalry, the despair of a doomed age, and Liu Chengyou's suspicions. In an era ruled by men, two modern souls also find a forbidden affection quietly taking root amid the currents of history.
Science may eventually reveal a way home, but should she return to her own time, or hold on to the only thing that feels real in this chaotic age?
This time, the choice is in your hands.
I feel like the author should be a girl. . . Although the writing is excellent and the characters are rich, the plot is still a bit rushed and a bit deus ex machina. I feel that it would be better not to set up Goldfinger and the villain from the sky at the beginning. . . .
The protagonist wants to use his sister as a maid! Is it because there are maids who don't use them just to show off the deep love between sisters? After reading the first few chapters, it seems to be a lily novel! Probably not Lily. But the sisterly love has always been deep, and I don't know what the author wants to express?
The plot is exquisite.
