The Stars Shine with You

Xu Xinzhen and Lin Xingwan were destined to know each other from the moment they were born. He is the youngest son of the Xu family and the future KPL mid-lane legend “Jiuwei”; she is the Lin family’s beloved daughter, a gifted and brilliant illustrator. Their families have deep ties, and their lives have long been closely intertwined.

As Xu Xinzhen began to make a name for himself on the professional stage, stirring up a storm under the name “Jiuwei,” Lin Xingwan was using her brush to paint her own vast artistic horizons. By chance, a painting inspired by him was revealed to the public, putting his childhood friend, who was outside the esports world, in the spotlight. The excitement of their reunion quietly blossomed amid the approval of both families.

The Rift is his battlefield; the canvas is her stage. He pursues the glory of a championship, while she captures the starlight of art. They share the euphoria of victory and bear the bitterness of defeat together. They enjoy the warm support of their families’ longstanding friendship and face together the worries brought on by their unusual careers. Public scrutiny, the trials of injury, career-changing choices… none can loosen their clasped hands.

For him, the greatest glory is the golden rain on the competition stage, and the stars shining for him in her eyes. For her, the most beautiful picture is an award-winning work, and every moment spent with him. Glory and you are both indispensable stars in my life.
