Theodore Nott × Clementine York
[Her elegance, her perceptiveness, that blend of melancholy and determination, caution and daring, that innocence which did nothing to prevent her from possessing so much sound and useful knowledge.]
Slow burn! Slow burn! The pacing drags, and the story is easy to abandon! (What did you expect when it starts when she's five?)
An original female character paired with Theodore. She's a Muggle-born Pure-blood, not from a traditional Pure-blood family, and her family has ties to Muggles.
She's in Slytherin, but not a lionhearted Slytherin. She's not very well socialized (and Theodore sees her through rose-colored glasses), so she can seem a little clueless at times. She's a growing heroine with severe family trauma: beautiful, strong, and tragic. The male lead is strong, but she's even stronger, and the story leans toward Mary Sue.
An emotion-driven story focused on growth, friendship, and love. The heroine gets plenty of development. This isn't a typical powerful female lead's monster-slaying-and-leveling-up story. It will touch on the main plot, but the execution may be a little rough.
The heroine has lots of inner thoughts and is sensitive. Her flaws and strengths are both obvious, and she can be sweet, wild, or unwell (?). Please don't confuse the characters' opinions in the story with the author's.
It's very beautiful. I like the character of the heroine very much (I seem to see myself). It's my favorite book by Theodore so far. I hope it doesn't fool me.
