When the protagonist becomes too powerful in a given world, the System generates a “Balancer” (such as a special enemy combining Hollowfication, cursed spirits, and Devil Fruit abilities). Each time the protagonist transmigrates, he randomly forgets some of his memories of the real world. It is eventually revealed to be a self-protection mechanism.
