The Age of Rust: My Spiritual Root Can Devour Radiation

Genetic collapse. The corrosion of civilization. This is an age shrouded in towering walls and radioactive dust.

My name is Lin Ye. I am the lowliest good-for-nothing in this wasteland cage, a sacrifice my family is willing to make just to stay alive.

When they force my beloved older sister to sign a blood-red marriage contract, I choose to enter the death zone everyone fears.

They don't know that the radiation capable of melting steel is the sweetest food imaginable to me!

From this day on, I feed on radiation and devour starlight. I forge a divine body from scrap metal and command the world-ending mecha built from the remains of ancient gods: the Divine Machine's God-Corpse!

The war of this rusted age begins with protecting my sister, and will continue to the end of the stars and sea. I will tear apart with my own hands the cage this universe imposed on my people, and declare to the so-called “gods” who look down from above: Those you banished long ago have returned at last, and will reap everything!
