Zhi Xia had completed her studies overseas and returned home, full of passion and determination. What awaited her were harsh research conditions and enormous pressure. But she refused to back down, joining forces with a group of like-minded partners.
They worked day and night, painstakingly finding a way forward through countless failures. Every setback felt like a crushing blow, but their faith never wavered. The cramped laboratory was piled high with documents and equipment, while they worked tirelessly, their resolve unwavering.
After countless days and nights of struggle, at last they saw the light of dawn: they successfully developed our country’s lethal weapon, earning an immortal place in the cause of national defense. Behind this achievement was a magnificent story written by Zhi Xia and her partners with their youth, sweat, and passion.
Zhi Xia: Even if my humble body can be no more than a spark, I will still light up every inch of our land.
Ji Qiu: If foreigners can do it, we Chinese can do it better, and faster!
Gegentana: Even if the experiment fails a thousand times, on the thousand-and-first try, we will see the dawn of victory!
Danzeng: Our motherland needs this mighty weapon of defense. We will work day and night to make it a success as soon as possible!
Su Yan: For our motherland’s peace, no matter how hard things get, we will never give up!
