Beautiful Even in Sorrow

Their story was long, stretching back to the distant end of the last century. Their time together was brief, with less than twenty days spent in each other's company. Their meeting was beautiful, a winding, dramatic tale worthy of a TV series, the kind anyone would envy. Their ending was tragic, so painfully unfinished that it could never do justice to their beautiful encounter. Perhaps many will ask, why must people who love each other part? All I can say is that, back then, they were too young and inexperienced to hold on to a sincere, profound love. By the time they came to their senses, they understood that there would never again be anyone in this world who made them feel so warm and shine so bright.
