When Raiden Mei’s consciousness sinks into darkness, the one who takes over her body is the most obsessive “serpent” among the Flame-Chasers.

Beneath the dome of the Elysian Realm, Mobius wears a mask that does not belong to her. She imitates the icy composure of the Herrscher of Thunder and keeps her crimson edge in check, trying to hide the truth beneath the gaze of these “memory” Flame-Chasers. After all, no one knows better than she does what kind of sharpness lies in the eyes of these seemingly gentle heroes of the Previous Era.

Elysia’s pink smile always carries a hint of probing. Hua’s Fenghuang Down can see through the folds of consciousness. Kalpas’s blood-red sickle is always aimed at the “impostor’s” throat, while the “Mobius” who should have been at odds with her appears and disappears in the shadows of the Realm.

She thinks her disguise is flawless, but she does not know that every deliberately imitated show of distance, every slight tremor when a Flame-Chaser touches her, is quietly tearing the mask apart. As fragments of Raiden Mei’s memories repeatedly collide with Mobius’s consciousness, and the urge to “escape” runs into the unspoken understanding among the Flame-Chasers, this game of pretending in the name of “survival” has long since strayed from its original course.

“Who are you, really?”

At the question, violet lightning and crimson silently intertwine in the pupils of the person in the mirror.

This is a contest between disguise and honesty, a struggle between consciousness and memory, and a journey in which two souls are forced by the rules of the Elysian Realm to search for their “selves.” After all, the pain of a serpent shedding its old scales often holds the promise of new life.
