Qin Yu is a disposable character in the novel The Young Master Gu’s Contract Sweetheart. Unable to escape his destined death at twenty-two, he activates a survival System on his fifth rebirth. To stay alive, he must complete survival missions, and the condition for survival is to win over the novel’s protagonist and form a deeply intimate relationship with him. No one told him the target would be a man, let alone Gu Ming, the cold and domineering business tycoon who rules the corporate world! The System’s missions are already challenging at the start: chance encounters, head pats, hand-holding... But somehow, the tycoon isn’t what Qin Yu expected. The missions go smoothly, and they even establish a permanent protection mode? In fact, they knew each other long ago, and the System’s activation and survival missions are all strange. Qin Yu is afraid the System will drain him completely, until Gu Ming tells him, “It’s using my life and love to build you a fortress that will keep you alive. As long as you’re by my side and accept my love, my life and strength will always be your support, inexhaustible and limitless.” Ending: This is only a game.
