Starfall Demolition Squad: Why Would a Taoist Go to College?

[School powers + comedic ensemble cast + lighthearted wish fulfillment]

Jian An, from an ancient family of Eastern talisman masters, transmigrates to the Starry Sky Continent with an arsenal of exquisite talisman techniques. But as soon as he joins the student council, he regrets it: this isn’t a student council, it’s a “demolition squad”!

Student council president Jiang Xun spends every day roaring over bills for damages. Chen Zhibai and Huang Xingcheng, who wield both lightning and fire, blow up the office and burn lesson plans whenever they disagree, while dragging younger students Shen Chi and Qu Yi into the chaos. The laid-back mind-powered Gu Xiuye works overtime without complaint, vice president Song Yuzhou is forced to serve as the squad’s construction worker, and healer Zhou Yuche never has enough supplies in his first-aid kit.

Jian An had hoped to quietly practice his talisman craft, but in the end he couldn’t escape being “one of them.” When he took over an investigation into a library case, his teammates sealed the evil aura with a sealing technique, and he casually slapped on an enhancement talisman, sealing every student in the school instead. While helping everyone study for monthly exams, he tried to stop Chen Zhibai and Huang Xingcheng from fighting and cast a binding talisman, which also stuck tiles across half a wall. At the supernatural abilities competition, he meant to use a water talisman to help control the field, but accidentally used an enhancement talisman instead, making Shen Chi’s wind powers blow the judges’ table away! From initially “skating by on the sidelines” to actively joining the demolition squad, Jian An grows alongside his passionate but unreliable teammates, learning to work together as they wreck things and solve cases. Combining Eastern talismans with supernatural abilities, they wreak havoc while saving the school, launching a hilarious campus adventure!
