Honkai Impact 3rd: My Headpats Are a Little Too Powerful

The captain of the Hyperion has a secret ability no one knows about: a light touch to the top of the head can put a Valkyrie into a brief state of “absolute honesty.” It was supposed to be his last resort for protecting his companions in an emergency. But during an accident, it went off while Kiana was excitedly showing off her “homemade” cookies, exposing her harmless little lie.

Disaster strikes! Kiana instantly turns into an angry, bristling kitten and starts dredging up old grudges: all those embarrassing things she accidentally let slip, the secrets in the tactical reports… So the culprit was the captain’s “magic hand” all along! Faced with Kiana’s fury and interrogation, the captain reluctantly reveals the truth about his ability and the heavy responsibility his family bears. He admits that this power is a double-edged sword, and that he has always used it carefully, guiding them in secret only when their lives were on the line.
