Harry Potter: The Overlooked Child

(Heroine: Penny. Hero: Regulus Black. This is my first story, so please be kind. Updates are irregular. It’s mostly focused on everyday life. The heroine is genuinely a child and doesn’t know the plot. She has all the bad habits of a child, so please don’t read if that’s not your thing.)

After her younger sister is born, Penny is always the child who gets overlooked. When her parents aren’t paying attention, she goes to the church in town, where her best friend, Sister Annie, is waiting for her.

Her sister is discovered to have magic, makes new friends, and goes off to magic school. The sisters grow further and further apart.

Penny’s encounter with Regulus is an accident. Blessed by God, the young Muggle girl can fight several adult wizards at once, and doesn’t think much of wizards. Regulus is a pure-blood wizard raised to look down on Muggles by his family. A Death Eater attack brings them together by chance, and a series of coincidences gradually deepens their bond.

What will become of this story of God and a heretic, a family that believes in pure-blood supremacy, and a magical version of Pride and Prejudice?

P.S. The heroine can be considered magical, but her magic isn’t in her bloodline, so Hogwarts’ Book of Admittance can’t detect her. Her magic comes from God’s blessing and can’t be inherited.
