The Silent Mime Show

[Two male leads, one-on-one, non-consensual love]

[Domineering, brooding, utterly amoral producer x fragile yet resilient, sweet-natured actor]

Lu Shuming was once the person who recognized my talent. He was also my nightmare.

Our arrangement began with coercion. He controlled my life, crushed my pride, and trapped me in the cage he had carefully built for me.

I hated his arrogant belief that he could take whatever he wanted. I hated the violence with which he shattered my dignity. Even more, I hated how I wavered whenever he occasionally showed me tenderness.

I thought this twisted entanglement would never end. Then, one day,

he died.

A keepsake that wasn’t meant for me ended up in my hands.

There was no property or jewelry, only an old VCR covered in dust.

“Lu Shuming, you really are impossible to like.”

Even in death, you wouldn’t let me go.
