Lin Chen, an abandoned disciple of his sect, waited for death in despair. But then a remnant soul claiming to be “the greatest sword immortal of all time” awoke in his mind!
“Kid, do you want to live? Do you want to grow stronger?”
“Take my remnant soul as your master and offer up your remaining lifespan. I’ll teach you a sword art that can slay gods, destroy demons, and restore the crumbling Heavenly Way!”
From that moment on, Lin Chen’s fate changed completely!
While others practiced incomplete Dao arts, he cultivated the supreme sword path that led straight to the source!
While others protected themselves with magical treasures, he made his body the sword’s scabbard and his soul its blade!
In this dark age, when the path to immortality has been severed, a man and a remnant soul set out on a lonely, defiant path against the heavens.
“My master was once the greatest of all time. So I’ll become the greatest after him!”
Treading over the bones of gods and demons and wielding the Sword of Inherited Dao, Lin Chen will proclaim to the entire Land of Embers: The sword path is not dead!
Very detailed and the characters are very fleshed out. The plot is full of twists and turns...
