[No female lead + OPL + Little Vertical esports + two equally strong leads] Genius mid laner vs. rookie AD Perhaps some of you still remember Three, Two, One, Engage. (This story is complete. There will be a sequel, though it probably won't be for a long time. If you enjoyed it, please leave a rating and a comment.)
The 2022 autumn split finals: Whale Esports faced PR in a best-of-seven series and narrowly lost, 3–4. Fans all called for them to come back next year, but they never expected the higher-ups at Whale Esports to have already decided to pull their funding. Just then, OG, third place in the autumn split, reformed. With new investment, OG planned to build a galaxy team, making a major push to recruit star players and the rookie of the year.
A top laner won over with emotional appeals, a mid laner lured in with grand promises, an AD just out of the youth academy, a jungler poached from XC: OG's management signed Xianyu as head coach, and a new galaxy team gradually took shape.
OPL is gone. I wrote this to remember it, with shadows of old friends in the story.
