A hundred years ago, a tidal wave of cosmic energy "source matter" hit the earth, causing drastic changes: some creatures deformed into terrifying beasts, some humans awakened supernatural powers (awakened ones), technology collapsed, and order disintegrated. The remaining humans struggle to survive in the giant mobile fortress "Ark City" or in the dangerous wilderness. The environment is harsh, resources are scarce, and the strong are respected.
