Yuri, lots of cuddly moments. This isn’t a transmigration story; the protagonist is a local. It’s a new author’s second book... The first was about Zenless Zone Zero, but it had quite a few problems...
Featuring Firefly
The writing isn’t very good.
AR-26710, Qinghe, was secretly developed by the Glamoth Republic’s parliament. She was not made using the Empress’s genes.
The parliament had intended to mass-produce her, but the technology wasn’t mature enough, and only one successful subject was created.
Her equipment was so advanced that she could match the effectiveness of an entire Iron Cavalry squad on her own.
But Qinghe was unhappy with the parliament’s actions and kept trying to escape. It seems she may have misunderstood them, though?
During one battle, Qinghe met an Iron Cavalry soldier with the same designation as hers.
Since Qinghe wasn’t part of the Empress’s army, she couldn’t risk revealing herself to the public. So the two agreed to meet at a designated spot after each mission. Though every time, Qinghe was the one waiting for the other.
As they met again and again, both of them began to change, and they looked forward to each meeting.
Neither understood what these feelings meant, so they kept them buried in their hearts.
Then one day, Qinghe didn’t show up. From her teammates, Firefly heard that the swarm had suddenly launched a fierce attack, and an unknown Iron Cavalry soldier had held it back at the cost of their life, then gone missing.
Firefly was overwhelmed with sadness when she heard, but she continued to believe that the other person was still alive.
Note: Qinghe and Firefly having the same designation is the author’s own setting. Their names are used in the synopsis for clarity. At the beginning of the story, neither has a name, only a code designation.
Nice! Come on, author!!! It would be great if the character descriptions were more detailed!
