The God-Slaying Empress: When Her Sharp Edge Turns to Tenderness

To save the lingering soul of her beloved, Lin Mo, who had fallen ten thousand years ago, Empress Su Wanqing severed her divine status and lost all her cultivation. She searched the mortal realm, found Lin Mo, whose constitution was exceptionally poor, and brought him back to raise and train him. With sheer determination and the mysterious “Chaos Origin Seed” within him, Lin Mo began as a good-for-nothing cultivator and struggled to grow through countless trials of life and death.

Under the Empress's protection and guidance, Lin Mo met Ye Qingwu, a gentle and compassionate healer; Ji Mingyue, an arrogant sword cultivator; You Ye, a bewitching demoness; Yun Yao, a wise Saintess; and other confidantes who stood by him through life and death. Fighting side by side, they took on the Nine Heavens Divine Clan, rulers of the heavens who treated all living beings like grass, and their underlings, while uncovering the ancient conspiracy of the mastermind known as “Shadow.”

From the mortal world to the divine realm, Lin Mo led his companions through bloody battles. At last, in the final showdown, he slew the Divine Emperor, defeated “Shadow,” and ended the Divine Clan's rule. With their mission accomplished, Lin Mo, Empress Su Wanqing, who had sheathed her sharpness and showed tenderness only to him, and their other beloved companions withdrew from the world to protect the hard-won peace and love they had found.
