When architectural designer Su Nana took over the restoration of the century-old "Zhongming Pavilion", she thought it was just an ordinary ancient building protection project.
However, the spiral staircase in this house always only has 12 steps. Until 12 o'clock in the evening, when she walked up the stairs counterclockwise, she heard the cry of a child from the 13th step - there was obviously nothing there.
What's even more bizarre is that during the construction period, workers were injured one after another "accidentally": someone fell from the scaffolding, holding in his arms a pair of children's leather shoes from the Republic of China that he dug out from a crack in the wall; someone found a baby cradle in the attic with the word "Sunana" engraved on it—but this cradle was obviously seventy years old.
When Sunana was shocked to discover that her missing grandmother was the maid who disappeared from the Bell Hall 70 years ago, she began to wonder: Are these "accidents" really coincidences? Why did the cradle with her name engraved on it appear decades before she was born?
And when the 13th bell rings midnight, the real secret has just begun to emerge...
