Ballad of Ash and Snow: The Top-Tier Star and the Disfigured Forest Ranger

Top-tier star and forest ranger, forbidden love, lovers reunited after heartbreak, angst and sweetness in equal measure: China's answer to the forest-set Brokeback Mountain.

The wind and snow in the Wute tribe's lands were bitterly cold, but it was there that Chen Jin was held tightly by someone for the first time.

Lin Xingye said, "I picked you up, so your life belongs to me."

Later, Chen Jin really did give his life back to him.

In a fire that burned everything to ash.

When they met again, one was a star adored by millions, the other a disfigured forest ranger living under an assumed name.

"You don't remember me."

"I remember the wolf fang on your wrist, how you hate the cold, and that your name is A Jin."

"But I'm not him."

"You can fool the whole world, but not me."

One person loved for a lifetime, even after being forgotten twice.
