Journey to the West: The Strongest Tang Monk in History!

Transmigrated into the body of the young Tang Monk at Golden Mountain Temple, Lin Yue stares at his System panel, lost in thought.

[Ten Thousand Volumes System: Knowledge is power. Reading improves your cultivation]

Others toil for a thousand years to become Golden Immortals. He reads a book on quantum mechanics before bed and wakes up having broken through straight to the Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm!

He was supposed to be a laid-back monk who did nothing but eat and wait for death. How did he become the “Living Bodhisattva” recognized by all the Three Realms?

The common folk kneel before him: “Holy child, please bless us with a son!”

Lin Yue: “...This poor monk can only chant sutras. I don't know how to deliver babies!”

The Jade Emperor sends an envoy: “Please preside over the Peach Banquet, Holy Monk!”

Lin Yue: “No. Peaches aren't as sweet as watermelons.”

The Tathagata: “Golden Cicada, it's time to come to Spirit Mountain and fetch the scriptures.”

Lin Yue pulls out Journey to the West: “Want a spoiler? The scriptures you deliver in the end are blank.”

Sun Wukong: “Master, that White Bone Spirit is a demon!”

Lin Yue takes a look: “She looks decent. I'll take her on as a maid.”

Zhu Bajie: “Master, that Roc is an ancient demon sage!”

Lin Yue loosens up: “Perfect. Let's test out the new Fist of Physical Laws I've just comprehended.”

No one knows that this little monk, who spends every day lounging around the temple and munching on watermelon, has quietly surpassed the Three Pure Ones and become the only being in the Three Realms to reach the Heavenly Dao realm!

When Guanyin comes to sound him out, the Jade Emperor pays him a personal visit, and the great powers of the primordial world are all shaken...

Lin Yue can only sigh: “I've told you all I just want to keep a low profile. Why do you insist on forcing me to act?”

The Three Realms: “???” You call that keeping a low profile?!

This Journey to the West seems to have gone off the rails from the very beginning!
