In order to save his seriously ill mother, A Shi, a medicine collector, ventured deep into Mount Buzhou. He accidentally found the "soul-soothing jade" left by Gonggong, and was involved in a crisis that spanned a thousand years. He met Qingmei, who claimed to be a descendant of Wu Zhu. The latter came to find the "remaining stone to mend the sky", but he revealed an even more shocking truth: Buzhou Mountain was originally the "Lock of Heaven and Earth" transformed from Pangu's spine, and the remaining stone was both the key to the seal and the nourishment of the void.
