Ink-Stained Streets focuses on the twilight years of Japan’s violent gangs during the Heisei era. Through Chara, a small-time member of the Yamaguchi-gumi who is of Russian and Japanese descent, it unfolds a story of identity, struggle, and the creases of a changing age.
