Help! This Honest Country Boy Has Been Targeted by a Green Tea Girl

One torrential downpour and one luxury car stuck in the mud lead Chen Yan, a plainspoken country man, to “pick up” a handsome young man, Zhou Muye, drenched to the skin. (Being an honest man doesn't mean being spineless. He supports himself, stands on his own two feet, and takes charge of his own life. This is a story about growth, and he'll eventually make his way in the city.)

The young man blinks his damp eyes, his hair a mess and his expensive clothes splattered with mud. He looks as pitiful as an abandoned puppy. Gripping Chen Yan's sturdy arm, he speaks in a trembling voice: “Big brother, the car broke down. I'm so scared... There aren't any wolves in these mountains, are there?”

Thirty-year-old Chen Yan has never seen anything like this. The young master from the city has delicate skin and looks several years younger than him. He seems so frightened he's about to cry. Chen Yan's heart softens, and he takes him back to his own modest but clean home.

From then on, Chen Yan's peaceful life is turned upside down.

Zhou Muye, the young master who claims his family has “a little money, but he isn't favored,” quickly turns into a clingy pest and a master of playing the innocent:

“Big brother, it's so dark in here. I'm scared. Can I sleep with you?” (He hugs a pillow and looks utterly innocent.)

“Big brother, that bug! It can fly! Protect me!” (He screams and throws himself into Chen Yan's arms.)

“Big brother, your cooking is the best! It's a hundred times better than my family's chef!” (He eats with stars in his eyes and “accidentally” brushes Chen Yan's hand.)

“Big brother, you're so strong... Will you teach me how to work?” (While learning to hoe the fields or chop wood, he presses in close, breathing against Chen Yan's neck.)

“Big brother, you smell like sunshine. I feel so safe...” (He pretends to be asleep and nestles his head against Chen Yan's shoulder.)
