Heart of Dawn: The Buried Past

[Prequel]+ [Partially Original Worldbuilding]+ [A Complete Story Expanding the Setting]+ [A Classic Shared-Body Partnership]

Ye Hui lost both his parents when he was young. Fortunately, Lin Yu, a retired police officer and orphanage teacher, took him in and gave him a stable childhood. But just as he enters high school, his life changes dramatically in a single day. He encounters an inexplicable phenomenon and meets Qin Xinghan, a mysterious transfer student.

As Ye Hui grows closer to Qin Xinghan, he unexpectedly discovers that the person suspected of framing his parents all those years ago has deep ties to her and to a partner at another company. Determined to uncover the truth behind his parents’ deaths, he begins investigating in secret, inching closer to the heart of the mystery.

But just as the truth begins to take shape, Ye Hui is horrified to realize that behind the entanglement of the Qin family and the old case lies a terrifying secret far greater than a “business conspiracy.” He and Qin Xinghan have long since been caught in a much deeper web.

Note: This story is set in a parallel world after Zero’s “Legendary Hyper Zetton” incident. The Zero Fight arc never begins, and Zero does not meet the companions he meets later. Instead, he accepts a mission and travels to this Earth, beginning his story there.
