Lin Mo (handsome and steady), the illegitimate son of the wealthy Lin family, was involved in an inheritance dispute due to his father's death. He was framed by his uncle Lin Jianguo (the vengeful mastermind behind the scenes) and was forced to fight back. During this period, he met Su Tang, a silly cosmetics developer (who was implicated because the "Qinglu" series he developed involved family interests). Lin Mo used clever and cunning counter-routine operations (such as deliberately showing weakness to lure the villain to take the bait) and rational and scheming wits (deciphering the villain's plan from the details). While protecting Su Tang, he exposed Lin Jianguo's behind-the-scenes conspiracy due to the hatred of the previous generation (Lin's father took away his inheritance rights back then), and finally regained the inheritance.
