Defying Fate: I Refuse to Be Heaven's Cauldron

Yun Xi, a graduate student in history, transmigrates to the cultivation world and becomes a spirit-rootless menial at the Azure Cloud Sect. She discovers that female cultivators mysteriously vanish upon reaching the Nascent Soul stage. Her mother's "death from illness" and Liu Mei's "Foundation Establishment" were both lies. The so-called Heavenly Dao is nothing but a shackle that male cultivators use to plunder female cultivators' spiritual power.

After unexpectedly awakening a Chaos Root, she gains the ability to devour laws and reverse the natural order. From the Servant Hall to the Ten Thousand Souls Grotto, from the Firefly Alliance to Sunset Glow City, she gathers oppressed female cultivators, breaks the Spirit-Locking Formation, challenges the Spirit-Gathering Banner, and tears apart the lies about the Heavenly Dao spun by male cultivators.

When the truth is revealed, the remnant soul of an ancient female emperor whispers: "The one who breaks the deadlock does not overturn all things, but brings them into coexistence." In the end, she will wield chaos as her blade and reshape the rules of the cultivation world.
