The story follows a modern PhD in Chinese language and literature who, after an accident, transmigrates to a parallel world where writing carries the Way. Poetry, lyrics, and prose flourish in this world, and producing fine works can earn a person literary talent. Accumulate enough of it, and one can attain a literary rank and gain all kinds of mystical arts. The protagonist transmigrates into the body of a namesake with a mysterious background and a woefully poor talent for poetry. Facing challenge after challenge, he grows stronger step by step.
