The Osaka Division’s Rebel

In 1937, Sasaki Yuji transmigrates into the body of a Japanese soldier aboard the Kobe Maru, at a turning point in history. He must survive these turbulent times without being discovered, while dealing with the unwritten rules of military life and an impending assignment at the front. Yuji must find a place for himself amid the tide of history, stay alive, and change his fate.

This is my first novel, and I chose this subject matter. I must neither glorify war nor fail to confront history honestly. Searching through historical sources was heartbreaking. I wrote some of this after having a stent put in following a heart attack. Thank you all for your guidance and feedback.
