What Are These Six Lunatics Doing? Oh, Going to Fetch the Scriptures

Ou Bing went to play with Sun Wukong and the others in the world of Journey to the West, but something went wrong while they were transmigrating. They ended up at the very beginning of another Journey to the West story. The Chosen One had a little mishap too: he died, so Ou Bing took his place and set off to obtain the scriptures.

They flew to Spirit Mountain to ask the Tathagata for the scriptures, but he said they first had to undergo the Eighty-One Tribulations. Then he sent them back to the mortal world and sealed their powers.

What a jerk! Once I get back to Spirit Mountain, I’ll make sure you’re thrown off your throne!

So what if we have to walk the pilgrimage route all over again? Easy. We’ll take Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, Nezha from Journey to the West, and Ao Bing from Journey to the West with us. It’s just... why is this pilgrimage so different?

They were pulled into instances and given a System. They could handle both the pilgrimage and the instances at once.

Getting inexplicably dragged into instances and made to complete tasks was bad enough. Why did they have to do tasks back in the world of Journey to the West too?

At least all they had to do was complete the Eighty-One Tribulations.
