Three years ago, Lu Chenzhou died while trying to save his daughter from drowning, then transmigrated to another world. The original owner of that body had been buried in debt, and Lu Chenzhou ended up dying of heat because he couldn’t bring himself to turn on the air conditioner in summer. Unexpectedly, he came back to life in his original world.
For three years, his body had also been occupied by a transmigrator with a System. Lu Chenzhou wanted to give the guy a couple of slaps just to vent. He’d taken what should have been a wonderfully satisfying story and made it utterly pathetic.
Someone bullies your daughter at kindergarten, and you apologize to them, criticizing your own child in front of outsiders? What kind of father does that?
Your wife’s sleazy male assistant hangs around her every day, whispering poison in her ear, and you just put up with it?
Even the housekeeper dares to order you around and boss you into doing chores. Why keep a housekeeper like that instead of throwing her out?
Ye Qianfan goes out to eat with another man, and you’re too afraid to say a word. You prepare a whole table of food and wait for her to come home for your anniversary, then, when she doesn’t show, you put your daughter to bed and slit your wrists in the bathroom?
Lu Chenzhou honestly didn’t get it. Were you some kind of goddamn ninja turtle, putting up with everything?
Sorry, you may be able to tolerate all that, but I can’t. I’ll be damned if I let anyone make a doormat out of me.
I’ll kick out the housekeeper, slap the sleazy assistant, and give that white-moonlight ex a good kicking. I’ll spoil my wife and daughter rotten. I’m Lu Chenzhou, and I endorse myself. Thanks, everyone! (A man should have a career of his own, too. Otherwise, you might get kicked out one day, and then you’re really screwed.)
It's pretty good. The concept and framework of the whole story are quite thoughtful. However, there are too many plots that deserve to be written in detail (system, just one or two paragraphs), but they are written just like daily life. It feels that all the nodes in the whole book are very even, and there is no "climax" of "starting, changing and ending", especially the family infighting in the last life, which is well laid out and "hastily" ended, which is a bit wasteful. I still respect the author (maybe I just want to write "daily"), come on! Looking forward to better works from the author!
