In the Name of the People: You Messed with the Nation’s Soul, and Hou Liangping Is on His Knees

“Old man, you're carrying a gun illegally. Not even the Jade Emperor can save you!”

Hou Liangping shoves the barrel against Xie Haihu's chest, grinning wildly.

The next second, the military district is locked down, fighter jets circle overhead, and a special operations brigade commander salutes.

“Greetings, Chief!”

His file is classified, and his gun permit bears the private seal of a one-armed founding general.

When he says, “You use the sacrifices of others as a shield to throw your weight around,”

he sets the fury of the nation ablaze!

Zhao Lichun roars in the dead of night, Sha Ruijin cries, “My dear old father,”

and a red hotline from Ziyun Mountain connects directly to the top.

“Anyone who lays a hand on Elder Xie is an enemy of the people!”

From kicking down doors to arrest people to locking down an entire theater of war,

Hou Liangping finally understands:

The man he tried to arrest was no corrupt official.

He was the Republic's last living legend!
